The Berkshire Bank v. First American Appraisal (CoreLogic)
Lawsuit filed by The Berkshire Bank against First American Appraisal (of which CoreLogic is alleged to be the successor).  The lawsuit alleges professional negligence by a staff appraiser operation (not AMC) of First American Appraisal in connection with the appraisal of a condominium project in Manhattan and seeks $6+ million in damages.

CoStar Realty Information v. Mark Field, et al.
Breach of copyright and breach of contract lawsuit filed by CoStar Realty Information for misuse of property information database by appraisers, appraisals firms and a mortgage company.  The court ordered a default judgment against one of the appraisers for failing to respond to discovery.  After a bench trial, the court ordered judgment against another appraiser for more than $800,000.
